We’ve been looking to make a “CROSSFIT TOTAL” video for a while and we’ve finally found the right partner. You may know him as John Konye #bigmansyndrome. Or maybe you know his recent “300 lb GRACE” video (yes, that’s 30 Clean-and-Jerks at 300 lb: https://youtu.be/3Av3ky1oqXA). John invited another fellow CrossFit YouTuber, Steven Lopes, to join him and we streamed their “CrossFit Total” attempts LIVE from HomeGrown CrossFit on Facebook.

John hit a PR back squat at 505 lbs, even though he wasn’t totally feeling it. Then Steve hit a PR as well at 455 lbs. John missed his PR-attempt strict press at 235 lbs, then Steve tied his PR at 225 lbs. John attempted another PR deadlift at 570, and got it off the ground, but dropped it…putting him with a total of 1,265 lbs. Steve went for a “mega” PR on his deadlift at 495 lbs and hit it…for a total of 1,175 lbs.

There’s typically no time cap on the CrossFit Total, but we’ll be keeping each lift to 10 minutes for maximum watchability for the original live stream.
