4 Burpees at the top of each minute

On paper “TOP GUN” is just a heavier version of the 2009 CrossFit Games workout, “AIR FORCE” (https://wodwell.com/wod/air-force/) (95/65 lb), but with a heavier barbell this becomes a whole different beast of a workout. Jason and Adam both said they underestimated the burpees, too…where “only 4 burpees” added up to 60 total for Adam, who finished in 15:55, and 76 for Jason who did his last front squat at 19:42. Jason opted – twice – to rest between sets of burpees, which caused him to lose significant time, but allowed him to catch his breath and get more work done when he did pick up the barbell. For both athletes it was the overhead squats that were most challenging and took up the most rounds.
