CrossFit “OPEN 19.4” WOD – 117 Reps (at United Barbell)

We filmed some “real” athletes at United Barbell in San Francisco who gave this workout a shot together for the first time at the gym’s “Friday Night Lights” CrossFit Open event. Nicolas and Eddie work out together in the mornings pretty regularly and knew they’d push each other.

Nicolas went out pretty hot, completing the first part of the workout in about 3:07. After the 3-minute rest he opened with a set of 7 bar muscle-ups. Eddie paced it a bit more and ended up about 45 seconds behind Nicolas on the first part, but closed the gap on the second part of the workout – partly due to shorter breaks on the bar muscle-ups and Nicolas’ two no-reps. Nicolas finished 3 bar muscle-ups ahead of Eddie.

– Eddie: 114 Reps (3:52 Tie Break)
